Admissions

Admission to Nursery is dependent upon spaces being available. We apply the same admission criteria as those outlined in the Nottinghamshire County. Please see our Nursery Policy below for more information.

Parents/carers are welcome to register their interest for a place at Hawthorne Nursery at any point in the year. Once you have decided that you would like your child to attend our Nursery you will be asked to complete an application form giving us you and your child’s details. This is so that we can contact you regarding your child’s place and keep you up to date with transition dates closer to the time. It is vital that you inform us of any change of details.

Once you have completed and returned your application form, our Office Manager will send you a letter confirming receipt of your application, please note that this does not guarantee your child a place. Acceptance and non-acceptance letters are sent out on the following dates:

The offer of places for September will take place in June.

The offer of places for January will take place in November.

The offer of places for April will take place in February.

Once your child has been offered a place, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.
