Wellbeing Warriors
Wellbeing Warriors
Wellbeing Councillors are led by Mrs Houldershaw and Mrs Mudie.
At Hawthorne Primary school we have a KS2 team of Wellbeing Warriors who show the importance of how to support and promote children's mental health.
Who are they?
Our Wellbeing Warriors are a team of eight children who aim to support children's mental health. You can identify the children who are part of the wellbeing team from their newly designed badges.
What do they do?
The Wellbeing Warriors have been working alongside our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors to deliver random acts of kindness to staff, making videos for our worry monsters and planning Anti-bullying week.
This year the children will be leading Anti-Bullying week alongside our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors through an assembly which they have planned using the Anti-Bullying Alliance (Anti-Bullying Week 2023: Make A Noise About Bullying (anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk) for inspiration.
In 2023-2024 our Wellbeing Warriors and Anti-Bullying Ambassadors achieved the 'Wellbeing Badge'. This year, 2024-2025 our children are working towards the 'Inclusion Badge'.
