Our PE day is on a Friday.

The children are to come to school in their PE kits - the kit should consist of:
• White T-shirt
• Black bottoms
• Black Hoodie (There are Black Hawthorne Hoodies now available, please enquire at the office if you want to purchase one)

Reading

Please make sure you child has their reading diary and phonics decodable book in their bag every day.

On Friday afternoons we do reading for pleasure where children can explore a range of different texts and read with other classes within school.

Outdoor clothing

We go outdoors in all weathers so please ensure children come to school with appropriate clothing. Feel free to leave a puddle suit/ wellies at school for children to change in to. During hot weather please send in children with a sun hat and water bottle. If sending in sun cream, please ensure it is named.
